COACHING STAFF
The Fútbol Factory is proud of its coaching staff. All
our coaches, Danubio FC both from the Danubio youth system as
well as our own The Fútbol Factory coaches, are licensed
and have international playing and coaching experience. The Fútbol
Factory coaches will lead our Danubio Summer program afternoon
sessions and work with players to correct weakness and sharpen
skills.
Javier Zeoli
A Danubio product, Javier Zeoli is one of the outstanding young
coaching talents in South America today. As National Team Assistant
Coach he has worked with the Uruguayan youth national teams as
well as the senior Uruguayan National Team. As a player he was
one of the dominant South American goalkeepers of his generation,
playing for some of the best teams in the world including 3-time
South American and 3-time world champion C.F. Nacional de Montevideo,
River Plate of Argentina and Tenerife of Spain. Javier was the
starting goalkeeper for 1991 Bolivian Champions Bolívar
and the 1988 Uruguayan Clausura Champions Danubio.
Gustavo Dalto
Coach Dalto currently serves as Danubio F.C.'s Youth System Technical
Director where he began his career as the team's U-14 coach in
2001. He rose steadily through Danubio's Youth System ranks winning
8 Uruguayan professional youth system championships between 2001
and 2005. As a player his career spanned 20 years including stints
with club teams in Uruguay, Spain, Argentina, Bolivia and Colombia.
He joined the Danubio youth system in 1978 and made their first
division team in 1981. Emigrating to Europe in 1990 he played
in the Spanish First Division with Xeres de La Frontera and later
returned to South America to play with Talleres de Cordoba of
Argentina, current Copa Libertadores champion Once Caldas of Colombia.
He won a Uruguayan championship with Danubio in 1988 and that
same year led Danubio to a Final Four appearance in the Copa Libertadores.
He also won a Bolivian championship with Bolivar in 1996. He was
a member of the Uruguayan National Team from 1987 to 1989 and
was a member of the Uruguayan 1989 Copa America silver medal team.
Fabian Coito
Coach Coito, former head coach of Uruguayan First division club
Central Español, began his professional playing career
in the youth system of Montevideo Wanderers where he remained
until 1992. From 1993 Coach Coito played with several teams including
Club Olimpia of Honduras where he won a Honduran championship
as well as the CONCACAF Champions Cup, and 3 time Mexican champion
Pachuca Club de Fútbol. Coach Coito began his coaching
career in 2000 as head coach of Central Español's U-18
team and rose steadily through the club's coaching ranks until
he became head coach of the clubs first division team in 2004.
Fernando Sanagua
Fernando Sanagua is a graduate of the youth system of 3 time South
American and 1968 world champion CA Estudiantes de La Plata of
Argentina where he began playing at age 10, and went on to play
professionally in Uruguay Coach Sanagua has been actively involved
in youth soccer in the New York tri-state area. He began his US
coaching career with the Carlos Bilardo Soccer School of Brooklyn,
working directly with Coach Bilardo, who coached Argentina to
victory in the 1986 Mexico World Cup. In 1999 he was selected
coach of a NYC Select Team that played in the Arsenal International
Soccer Festival in England. Fernando has also worked as a personal
trainer with elite college bound and professional youth players.
